Operations Coordinator (Cleaning & Client Services)
Location: Somers/Brewster, NY
Job Type: Full Time
Starting Pay: $23.00/hour
About the Role
As an Operations Coordinator, you'll play an important role in supporting both the Cleaning Manager and Operations Manager while helping serve our clients and keep daily operations running smoothly. This is a hands on position that combines residential and commercial cleaning with client communication, scheduling, quality control, and operational support.
You'll assist the Cleaning Manager and Operations Manager with day to day operations while performing professional cleaning services, responding to client emails and phone calls, coordinating schedules, assisting with quality inspections, and helping ensure every job meets our standards.
We're looking for someone who is dependable, organized, professional, and willing to step in wherever needed. The ideal candidate communicates well, works independently, accepts constructive feedback from both clients and team members, and is committed to continuously improving.
As our company grows, this role offers opportunities to take on additional responsibilities and advance into leadership.
Responsibilities
• Perform residential and commercial cleaning services.
• Clean restrooms, kitchens, offices, floors, windows, and common areas.
• Respond professionally to client emails and phone calls.
• Schedule recurring and one time cleaning appointments.
• Conduct quality control inspections.
• Assist with client walkthroughs and estimates.
• Coordinate daily schedules with team members.
• Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Resolve client concerns professionally.
• Assist the Cleaning Manager and Operations Manager with daily tasks, scheduling, quality control, and operational support.
• Support daily business operations and step in wherever needed to ensure our clients receive exceptional service.
Qualifications
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Professional, dependable, and organized.
• Comfortable using email, phone, and basic computer programs.
• Coachable and receptive to constructive feedback from clients and team members.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical cleaning tasks.

30 Day Paid Introductory Period
All new hires begin with a paid 30 day introductory period. During this time, you'll receive hands on training while learning our cleaning methods, customer service standards, and daily operations.
Your performance will be evaluated based on reliability, professionalism, communication, quality of work, your ability to apply feedback, and your overall fit with our team.
Successful completion of the 30 day introductory period is required for continued employment with P & D Cleaning Service.
